Instructions
 

  • Ful Medames: Simmer fava beans until soft. Mash slightly, then mix with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and cumin. Serve warm with pita, eggs, and pickles.
  • Manakeesh: Prepare dough or use flatbread, spread with za’atar and olive oil mix (or cheese/minced meat), and bake until golden.
  • Shakshuka: Sauté onions, garlic, and peppers in olive oil. Add tomatoes and spices. Crack in eggs and cook until whites are set. Serve directly in the pan.
