Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter cut into pieces
  • 10 oz mini marshmallows or 4 cups
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Optional Topping

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips melted for drizzle

Instructions
 

  • Grease a 9x13 inch pan or line with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a large saucepan over low heat, melt butter and peanut butter together. Stir until smooth.
  • Add marshmallows and continue stirring until fully melted. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  • Immediately add the Rice Krispies cereal. Mix gently until everything is evenly coated.
  • Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan using a spatula or lightly greased hands.
  • Optional: Drizzle with melted chocolate chips and allow to cool for 30 minutes before slicing into squares.

Notes

For extra crunch, fold in crushed pretzels or chopped peanuts before pressing into the pan. Store in an airtight container at room temp for up to 3 days.
