  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger freshly grated
For the Sauce

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water

Equipment

  • Wok or Large Skillet
  • Cutting board

Method

  1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and cornstarch slurry. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced chicken and stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside.
  4. Add bell peppers, garlic, and ginger to the same pan. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until peppers are tender-crisp.
  5. Return the chicken to the pan. Pour in the sauce and toss everything to coat evenly. Cook for 2 more minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or a splash of sriracha. You can also swap chicken for beef or tofu!
